My invention is a system/mechanism and software for mobile (smart phone) that protects the SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) from removal by strangers or thieves, in case the phone is lost or stolen. Currently, a SIM ejector tool is used to remove the SIM card tray. In my invention, the SIM card tray extends out of the phone like an old CD drive Only the phone owner can eject the SIM card using a password, PIN, or fingerprint; there is no other removal method.

The current problem is that SIM cards can be easily and quickly removed from phones, leading to loss of contact and connectivity with phone. The invention changes the existing method and adds enhanced security, aiding in the recovery of lost or stolen phones. This allows law enforcement to easily track and recover the devices.

The problem is that removing the SIM card from a smartphone results in loss of contact with the phone. It also makes it difficult to track the device with other devices, and reduces the chances of law enforcement tracking it, as the phone no longer has a network connection for tracking.

Yes, this invention addresses a major gap in current smartphones, where SIM cards can be easily removed by authorized or unauthorized individuals. This invention allows only authorized persons to remove the SIM card, which can be done by sliding it out from the phone using a PIN, password, or biometric identification. This invention is designed for new smartphone designs and research is not compatible with existing phones.

The unique mechanism and design provide enhanced security and protection for smartphones. Furthermore, the software offers additional security features to the user.
